Camaraderie-mahiks (18:30 IST), Saturday, November 7

Welcome to this page. I'm glad that you landed here!

Some of you might know about the zoom call I hosted where people interacted with each other and showcased their work. It was an attempt to uplift and motivate people about their passions and, of course, make new friends.

I would like to thank all the kind souls for being a part of my call. So, let me just recapitulate the light-hearted discussion we all carried out at Camaraderie-mahiks (18:30 IST), Saturday, November 7

We had with us, Katie Moran, Vanesh Mali, Brigit Pettit, and Ishi Gupta, and me, of course, haha!

First of all, we weren’t very familiar with each other, so we introduced ourselves and our work, and made ourselves comfortable. (may I just say, people are so talented and fun, at first I didn’t know how to handle anything, but all the participants helped this little girl by engaging so gracefully).

We talked about the current pandemic situation in our respective countries, and how it is affecting our lives.

We also discovered that there are different regional dialects for every language, which is a similar practice in every country.

We talked about our friendships and how moving out and settling somewhere else affects our bonds. And also, me and my friend Ishi, being teenagers, got some very useful tips!

Vanesh then amusingly spotted the background paintings in our videos. That was quite an interesting talk! And later in our conversations, I found out that a white wall isn't necessary for every online meeting, opposite of what I used to believe.

And the most important thing we did was showcase our work in front of everyone! Brigit, with the most fantastic handcrafted pieces, and Katie with her outstanding achievements of fresh book releases. Vanesh shared his deep poetry pieces with us, and my friend, Ishi, presented her beautiful artwork.

There was so much beauty in every word that I couldn't capture everything in this blog page. Yet, I tried to give a glimpse of what the event was like in real.

I hope we get a chance to interact again. It was an absolute pleasure to be a host of such amazing people. And it was an honor to have these people there. It was one of the best moments of my blogging life!

Concluding the note, I wanna wish you all a belated Merry Christmas and a very happy new year. I hope the festivity brings peace, health, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.

Warm regards,

Mahika Bansal (aka Mahik's)
