The dreadful dream shall shatter!
Masks hurting our ears
Save many more souls
Such is this year
And to come, there's more
No outings, no greets
No reunions with fam
Virtual hugs and meets
No shakehands
Sanitizers as buddies
We carry them around
Screens for studies
Burning eyes die down!
No money to the poor
People losing jobs
Are stuck inside home
Are begging or planning robs!
Uncertain future
The world has vague hopes
Horrifying contemporary life
To escape, there's no scope!
Patience is all we need
But it's buried deep inside
Now that a whole year is gonna pass
People are turning wild
But this time shall pass
Somehow, sometime
This will evolve to our past
And we all will again hold a smile!
